Our Commitment
Soxio is committed to full compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Union and European Economic Area, and the UK GDPR for users in the United Kingdom. This page summarises our data protection practices and your rights.
Lawful Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following lawful bases: Contract performance (delivering the service you signed up for); Legitimate interests (improving our platform and preventing fraud); Legal obligation (retaining records as required by law); Consent (where explicitly obtained, e.g. marketing emails).
Your Rights Under GDPR
As a data subject, you have the right to: Access the personal data we hold about you (Subject Access Request); Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data; Erase your data ('right to be forgotten') subject to legal retention requirements; Restrict or object to certain processing; Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format; Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based.
Data Transfers
Soxio processes data primarily within the EEA. Where data is transferred outside the EEA (e.g. to infrastructure providers), we ensure adequate safeguards are in place through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.

Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In the EU, this is your national data protection authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
